At Royal Berry, everything revolves around the perfect strawberry. Sweet, juicy, shiny, and full of flavor – exactly how you envision it. In our high-tech greenhouses in the sustainable horticultural area of Bergerden (between Arnhem and Nijmegen), the strawberry plants receive full attention every day. And you can taste it.

Each year we harvest no less than 8,000,000 kilos of fresh strawberries – all hand-picked and carefully grown.

We start with strong strawberry plants of the highest quality. In our greenhouses, they receive the right amount of light, water, CO₂, and special nutrients tailored to what the plant signals through continuous monitoring every day. Goal: A healthy, vigorous plant that is ready to bear flavorful strawberries.

We only pick when the strawberry is fully ripe – never earlier. That means: deep red, shiny, juicy, and full of flavor. They are then carefully packaged and quickly delivered. Result: A premium strawberry like you rarely taste: sweet, fresh, shiny, and all-natural.

OUR RACES

Royal Berry cultivates a carefully composed assortment of the tastiest strawberry varieties:
Elsanta, Malling Centenary, Sonata, Lady Grace, Lady Isabella, Florice, Lady Emma, and Opera.
Each variety has its own character, but they all meet our standard: rich in flavor, firm in structure, and beautiful in form.

Additionally, we are always looking for even better varieties and annually test many new variations in collaboration with breeders.
